Information technology Manager
Don Pearson, MCSE
Don is Director of Technology for GHB, and assists clients in the areas of software/hardware installations, local and wide area networking, and implementation of accounting systems for small to medium sized companies.
Don has firm-wide responsibility for internal information technology needs, as well as executing systems consulting engagements in a broad range of industries which include retail, construction, manufacturing, and professional service organizations. He is responsible for establishing and monitoring quality control procedures for implementation of technology solutions. One of Don's goals for the Firm and for our clients is to create a network with "zero downtime" to assist our internal efficiency and hosting capabilities.
Background
Don has a long and varied experience with high tech industry, with experience in the manufacturing and construction industries. Largely self-trained, Don rose to CAD manager status (computer aided drafting) for a manufacturing company where he provided CAD maintenance and set up, troubleshooting and customization. Prior to joining GHB in 2004, Don was a network administrator for a manufacturer and distributor of pre-cast concrete building systems. Don built the network from the ground up, and administered the entire data communications network of 150 users across 7 remote sites. His industry experience includes knowledge of assembly and automation, sheet metal, extrusion and casting.
